Rexathor refused to complete his thought as he kneeled down slowly. Sighing profusely, his blue eyes looked into hers once again. Opening his right hand, he placed it on the ground before her. "In any case, we should be going."
Lelani froze up, her auburn hair shifting in the mild wind. The giant boy waited a few patient moments before his wrinkling brow drew his eyebrows together.
"You want me to, uh, to climb up there? On your…hand? To go with you?" She gulped loudly.
He blinked worriedly. "Well, I can't think of any other way for you to come with me."
"But-but—why must we go now?" Lelani could feel the sweat forming on her brow. "Why do I have to come with you?"
Rexathor heaved a great sigh. "I know this is probably very frightening for you, but you have to trust me. Please! Pharcipeo is in need of some sort. We cannot waste any more time."
His pleas struck a chord inside her heart, confusing her immensely. "But… going with you…"
"Have I not proven myself trustworthy of your safety?"
She could feel her breath begin to shake. It was one thing to converse with a giant. It was a whole other world to entrust her life into his hands. Things were getting too serious, too fast.
Opps. It was supposed to be his right hand. Oh well!
Well, for all the mistakes and perspective errors, I kinda like it. It's the first major piece I've done in a very long while. I hope you guys enjoy! I guess this is kind of a reboot for Do You Trust Me
, but at a different angle.
